DEVELOPING QUALITY CULTURE AT INDUSTRIAL UNIVERSITY OF HO CHI MINH CITY IN THE CURRENT CONTEXT

Abstract

Quality assurance in higher education has become an issue of at concern. Many management and guideline documents have been reviewed, updated and issued by the Government to serve as the legal basis and orientation for quality assurance activities. On the university side, quality assurance is actively taken place through the construction and development of internal quality assurance system and quality accreditation. Employers and candidates can use the results of quality accreditation to consider choosing a education institution to study as well as recruiting human resources for their company. With the attention and promotion of the whole society, quality culture has been formed in universities. This paper discusses the concept and role of quality culture for the development of universities as well as measures to build and maintain a quality culture at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City in current context.
