CURRENT STATUS OF WASTE AND SUGGEST A LEAN MANAGEMENT MODEL IN COMPANIES PRODUCING AND PROCESSING PRODUCTS FROM INDUSTRIAL PLANTS: CASE STUDY IN KON TUM PROVINCE

Abstract

Lean management is one of the adaptive management methods to continuously eliminating waste of any resource or process through tools 5S, Kaizen, Visual Management ..., etc. The main benefit of this system is to reduce production costs, increase productivity, shorten production time and lead to construction of a production system without redundancy and waste. With an evolutionary problem-solving ability, Lean management opens a new avenue for thinking of the general business administrator in Vietnam and special firms that manufacturing and processing of products from industrial plants. The study focused on exploiting 5S and Kaizen 2 tools in manufacturing compact and find out Lean application model consistent with the company that processing and producing from industrial plants: case study in Kon tum Province.
