RESULTS OF RESEARCH ON USING CEMENT PILE FOUNDATION IN QUANG NGAI CITY AREA

Cement piles are widely used in the treatment of foundations and weak soil for construction works of traffic, irrigation, airports, ports... such as: making waterproofing trenches for dikes and dams, repairing seepage of culverts and culvert bottoms, reinforcing soil around tunnels, stabilizing retaining walls, preventing landslides for slopes, reinforcing roadbeds, bridge abutments... In Quang Ngai city, cement piles were first used at the Hotel Central project in 2005. In recent years, a series of projects such as Hung Vuong Hotel, Huyndai Company Showroom, Bau Ca Phat Dat Residential Area... have used cement piles as a foundation solution for low-rise buildings (less than 9 floors), reducing construction costs and being economically effective. In this research, the author presents the results of the study on the use of cement soil piles in the geological conditions of Quang Ngai city, based on a number of projects under construction.
