PARTITION FUNCTION FOR EXPLOITATION AND USE IN COASTAL AREA OF BEN TRE PROVINCE TO 2020 AND ORIENTATION TO 2030

Abstract

From methods such as surveying of coastal area, analyzing demand for exploitation and use of coastal area according to the planning of branches, overlapping maps and meshing according to the value of ecological resources as well as the need for economic development, it is possible to divide the coastal area of Ben Tre province into 04 regions and 08 sub-regions. Each region and sub-region has its own characteristics, functions and location in the coastal area. The results of functional and exploitation zoning of the coastal area of ​​Ben Tre are the scientific basis for the orientations for exploitation and use of resources, environmental coastal area protection, creating a premise for construction of Integrated Coastal Management Strategy, contributing towards sustainable development of coastal area in Ben Tre.
