PREPARATION OF γ-Al2O3 BY CONTINOUS DIFFUSION METHOD
Main Article Content
Abstract
. Aluminium hydroxide was prepared by acidic and basic diffusion methods. The g-Al2O3 was obtained when aluminium hydroxide was calcined in saturated steam at 550oC for 4h. The average particle sizes of γ-Al2O3 were less than 50 nm and SBET surface areas were from 233.3 to 336.4 m2/g and 127.7 - 263.7 m2/g for acidic diffusion method and basic diffusion method, respectively. γ-Al2O3 used as a carrier for the Ni catalyst for NOx emission handle at temperature 350oC. The results showed that γ -Al2O3 was prepared by both acidic and basic diffusion methods were obtained high transformation. The highest activity is 67% (γ-Al2O3 was prepared by acidic diffusion method).
