EVALUATION OF THE COMFORT AND AESTHETICS OF 3 FABRICS FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING MEN'S SHIRT UNIFORMS

Abstract
This paper presents the survey results of comfort (moisture regain, capillary property air permeability, breaking elongation and drape) and aesthetics (wrinkle resistance, drape, breaking elongation and shrinkage) of 3 fabrics used for making men shirts. The materials of these fabrics are 100% cotton, 100% polyester (PES) and blend of 65% PES and 35% cotton, respectively. Based on the survey results, the quality of the 3 fabrics will be ranked preliminary based on the comfort and aesthetic requirements for the shirt used as a men's shirt uniform for the lecturers at the Industry University of Ho Chi Minh City.
