ENTHUSIASM IN SOCIAL ACTIVITIES OF STUDENTS OF THE INDUSTRIAL UNIVERSITY OF HO CHI MINH CITY

Abstract

Participating in social activities (SA) is very important students in helping them develop and succeed in life, but there who are not active in joining these activities. This article presents theresults of a survey on the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City students’ enthusiasm in participation in social activities along with factors influential to their participation and solutions for improvement. According to the findings the students’ enthusiasm in social activities reached fair level and there was a difference in the degree of enthusiasm reflected in 3 aspects (perception of the purpose of participation and meaning of social activities, willingness for active participation and persistent efforts to overcome difficulties).
