FACTORS AFFECTING FARMERS 'COLLECTIVE INTENTION IN GROWING SAFE VEGETABLES

Abstract
The change of producing safe food (such as vegetables) from traditional to clean vegetables is done mainly through cooperation between farmers or farmers with businesses. Study aims to identify various factors influencing farmers' intention to cooperate in safe vegetable cultivation. The research was conducted through surveying 239 farmers growing vegetables. PLS-SEM software is applied in this study and data is processed through Smart PLS. The study demonstrates factors that positively affect the cooperation of safe vegetable farmers including economic benefits, production support, success and communication activities. The research results aim to expand current knowledge of farmers' cooperation in food production and have practical implications for businesses and authorities to promote safe agriculture in Vietnam.
