Abstract

Confucianism is a socio-politcal doctrine founded by Confucius in China durring the Spring and Autumn period – the Warring States period and was introduced to Vietnam more than two thousand years ago. From a doctrine that upholds the moral element over the law, establishes social order on the basis of education, and teaches people so that it has knowledge of the religion of the sages and unconditionally adheres to the ruling class treat, Confucianism was used by the Northern colonial government as a tool for colonial domination, for the purpose of tightening our people’s dependence on the Han Dynasty. On the other hand, during  that process of existence and evolution Confucianism had a transformation and participated in the formation of traditional values of Vietnam. In the artile, the author only focuses on studying the educational perspective through some typical Confucianists in order to clarify some statemets in the educational perspective of Confucianism.
