Abstract

In this study, the rationale and extent of application of Newton's laws of motion are explored in depth. The results demonstrate that the first law is more than just a law of inertia; it also establishes a frame of reference, a vantage point from which to examine the motion of things. In addition, the analysis indicates that the non-inertial frame of reference is not a limitation of the second law and that the second law does not define force. In addition, the study describes the difficulty in implementing Newton's third law and demonstrates that it is not absolute. Specifically, the Coulomb force derived from theoretical calculations in special relativity is incompatible with Newton's third law.
