PROPOSAL FOR METHODOLOGY OF AO DAI MEN MODERN DESIGN

Abstract

Ao dai is the traditional costume commonly worn in our country at major festivals, and it is worn by teachers, high school students, etc., so ao dai pattern making has been taught in Universities and vocational schools that have Garment Technology-Fashion Design. Most schools teach the method of pattern making for women‘s ao dai, but men's ao dai has not been mentioned, so research on the method of pattern making for men's ao dai is necessary. Nowadays, as social life develops, there is a higher demand for clothing, and the trend toward traditional clothing is becoming more focused, so the proposed method for men’s ao dai will assist teachers and students in the textile, garment, and fashion design industries in increasing their ability to meet society's demand for beautiful clothes.
