Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the change of water level in the lower Dong Nai river due to the integrated impact of sea level rise and storage area decline. Research methodology is based on statistic. Data used in this study was annual highest water level and storage areas. The water level data is taken from six gauging station, from 1989 to 2017. The storage areas data is is generated from remote sensing image analysis. The image setellite image from Landsat, with 16 scenes from 1989 to 2017. The study results showed that, from 1989 to2017, due to the impact of sea level rise, the highest water level on the mouth river has beeen has increased by approximately 10 cm. Due to the storage area decline, the highest water level on the mouth river has beeen has increased from 29,2 cm to 36,1 cm
