SOME FORMS OF FRAUD TO STUDENTS IN HO CHI MINH CITY NOWADAYS: IDENTIFICATION AND SOLUTION

Abstract

Nowadays, forms of fraud are increasingly common in major cities of Vietnam, including Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC). They are increasingly sophisticated with tricks that are difficult to recognize. Beside those taking place obviously, there are also many fraud forms using high technology. Students at universities and colleges in Ho Chi Minh City are the targets of fraudsters because most of them have a change in living environment and limited understanding of fraud forms so they easily become victims of these ones. Therefore, propaganda and popularity of fraudulent forms and tricks are essential to help students actively prevent and avoid them. The authors focused on analysing and clarifying some fraud forms to students in Ho Chi Minh City at present, since then, proposed a number of key solutions to help them prevent and avoid these fraud forms effectively and safely.
