Abstract

Molecularity imprinted polymer (MIP) selected for rhodamine B (RhB) was synthesized by the co-polymerization reaction between acrylamide (AM) and ethylenglycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) with an initiator azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN). The maximum absorbance of RhB on MIP is 0.87 mg/ 0.1 g with the selectivity of 92.03%, which was higher than the Rhb absorbance on Rhodamine 6G, sudan I, sudan II (57.4 %, 6.55 %, and 3.36 % respectively). This procedure for RhB analysis was implemented on a number of food samples such as drinking water and chilli powder, with sample preparation by MIP and sample analysis employing HPLC. Recovery yield was found to be 86.5-95.6% for a drinking water sample and 80.8-94.7 % for chilli powder sample. The method detection limit (MDL) and method quantitative limit (MQL) were 10 ppb và 33 ppb respectively.
