Currently the demand of additional load is increasing so the expansion of low-voltage grid needs to be implemented in response to the reality of low-voltage grid. In order to expand the power supply capacity when the low voltage grid is overloaded due to high demand for additional electricity, the additional transformer station is a feasible solution to expand the low voltage grid. This paper proposes an innovative branch transformation algorithm to determine the location and capacity of the stations to be injected to minimize power on the low voltage grid. The test results of the proposed algorithm implemented on the 35-node grid showed the feasibility of the proposed method.
