STRUCTURAL MODELS OF METALLIC GLASSES
Main Article Content
Abstract
The article presents the kinetics of glass formation, experimental methods for studying structure and some popular structural models that have been built in metallic glasses: the microcrystalline model, the random close-packed hard-sphere model, the stereochemical model, the efficient cluster packing model and the tight-bond cluster model, points out the advantages - disadvantages and complex problems that still exist in these structural models.
