MODELS OF STRUCTURAL RELAXATION IN METALLIC GLASSES
Main Article Content
Abstract
The article presents an overview of several theoretical models of the structural relaxation in metallic glasses: free volume model, activation energy model and directional structural relaxation model; points out the advantages and disadvantages of these models and the complex problems that exist in studying of structural relaxation. This is an unexpected process that limits the range of applications of metallic glasses, materials with superior properties that promise a lot of potential applications in the future.
