FACTORS AFFECTING STUDENTS’ INTEREST IN ONLINE LEARNING FOR POLITICAL THEORY SUBJECTS - THE CASE STUDY OF INDUSTRIAL UNIVERSITY OF HO CHI MINH CITY

Abstract
Currently, the online learning model is increasingly developing, becoming a new trend worldwide, posing many challenges for teachers and learners. Students' interest in learning is particularly important in improving school teaching and learning efficiency. Interest in learning helps students to be active and positive in their awareness and change their learning attitude to achieve high efficiency in the learning process. However, for political theory subjects, which are theoretical subjects and are evaluated dry, abstract affects students' learning interest. To improve the effectiveness of online teaching and learning of political theory subjects, it is necessary to have studies to identify the factors affecting learning interest. In this study, the author conducted a survey of 625 students who studied political theory subjects in 2022 to have data to analyze the influencing factors, thereby offering solutions to improve online learning interest in political theory subjects.
