Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors affecting the entrepreneurial intention of engineering students at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH). The sample size is 404 students from 06 engineering and technology faculties of IUH. The survey is conducted via an online questionnaire. The authors apply the structural equation modeling in PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results show that Attitude towards entrepreneurship, Perceived behavioral control, Subjective norm directly impact Entrepreneurial intention and they mediate the relationship between Entrepreneurial education and Entrepreneurial intention. Findings are discussed and managerial implications are provided to promote entrepreneneurial intention among engineering students at Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City.
