Abstract
In the process of developing the country today, Vietnam is facing the prospects and challenges of a new development stage, which requires us to know how to mobilize and promote all resources. Social capital is one of the cultural factors that have an important contribution to the development of the country in general and the education career in particular. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of education in general, to train a university student who has mastered professional knowledge and equipped the necessary skills after graduation, in addition to financial capital and capital. Material and human capital needs to include social capital. In this article, the author studies the role of social capital in the learning process of students and the requirement to enhance social capital in higher education in Vietnam today.
