Abstract

This paper investigates the influence of two preparation conditions on electrical properties of nanocomposites consisting of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) and triglycine sulfate (TGS). The first one was conducted by using the common stirring method and the second one – a combination of stirring and ultrasonication. Dielectric parameters of the two series of MWCNT/TGS samples were measured at low frequencies (10-3 – 103 Hz) in a weak electric field (1 V/cm). It was found that dielectric constant reached maximum at the optimal value of MWCNT content corresponding to 8% in the case of using ultrasonication and 7.5% without it. Meanwhile, the conductivity of materials constantly increased with increasing MWCNT content.
