RESEARCH AND PROPOSE MEASURES TO REDUCE ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION OF LIVESTOCK WATER IN PLEIKU CITY, GIA LAI PROVINCE

Abstract

Livestock is growing, bringing economic benefits to many livestock producers. Besides, Livestock activities also cause environmental pollution. So, The topic was carried out to evaluate the situation of animal husbandry environment in Pleiku city, to determine the level of contamination of animal wastes to the surface water and groundwater environment and propose management solutions, animal waste treatment, minimizing the impact on the environment. Topics were taken through water sampling, analysis to determine the level of pollution caused by livestock waste; Field surveys, consultation with livestock producers and managers to understand the current status of livestock production and the management of
local staff. Using methods of collecting, analyzing, synthesizing data, documents and sociological surveys.
The results are: Determine the current livestock environment in Pleiku City; Assess the level of environmental pollution caused by animal waste in Pleiku City; Give some solutions suit the local situation
in the livestock wastewater treatment.
