REVIEW ON A NEW TYPE OF MULTI RIP FRAME SAW MACHINE

Abstract

This paper presents a review on a new type of multi rip frame saw machine in terms of composition, features and technical issues that have not been solved yet. In addition, the advantages and drawbacks of circular saw machine, band saw machine, and traditional frame saw machine are also analyzed. A comprehensive overview of saw machines in this paper helps engineers to select a proper machine in accordance with technical and financial requirements. Moreover, it is able to study on research and development of a new type of multi rip frame saw machine in order to improve economical competitiveness of wood processing enterprises in Vietnam.
