Abstract

The assessment of entity’s ability to continue as going concern indicates that the company has enough resources to continue in business for the foreseeable future or not. The health of the enterprise to meet the competitiveness and integration when the ASEAN Economic Community. This is the most interesting topic today, especially for companies listed on the stock market. In Vietnam, this research topic is still new and no research on the companies being delisted. The number of companies being delisted increased in recent years and the consequences of financial losses and reduced public confidence. Therefore, the authors carried out this study to evaluate the corporate financial distress listed on the Stock Exchange was delisted Vietnam. Based on data from 80 companies were delisted on the HNX and HOSE exchanges in the period 2012-2015, the author made the appropriate threshold for the Vietnam market. The study results have implications for investors, regulators and auditors in assessing the corporate going concern of the enterprises, information transparency and financial reporting contributing with a sustainable position in the integration of the ASEAN economic community.
