Main Article Content
Abstract
This article examines the role of school culture in the process of building a digital culture in contemporary Vietnam. Based on a theoretical analysis of both school culture and digital culture, the article argues that school culture is not only an environment for education and character formation but also a foundational platform for fostering digital thinking, critical thinking, and digital ethics among younger generations. The paper evaluates the current state of technology integration, the development of digital thinking and ethics, and behavioral patterns within school environments. It also highlights both the achievements and existing limitations, such as the digital divide between regions, the lack of digital culture content in curricula, and the insufficient technological competencies among educators. Furthermore, the article identifies the underlying causes of these achievements and challenges. Based on these findings, it proposes several key solutions to advance school culture in alignment with the development of digital culture in Vietnam today.
