Abstract
In the era of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution, when everything is connected to each other and the changes have happened more and more rapidly, students have to learn how to learn, learn to cope with change, uncertainty and must equip themselves with the necessary competencies for lifelong learning. Higher education programs have also had many activities to develop students' lifelong learning ability to meet the requirements of stakeholders and seek accreditation from educational accrediting organizations. This article discusses lifelong learning and the key competencies, the requirements for lifelong learning in a number of quality assurance frameworks, and the feasible ways to prove that the programs meet the lifelong learning requirement of the quality assurance framework.
