Abstract
Jean Piaget (1896-1980), a Swiss psychologist and philosopher, said that: Humans, in the process of discovering the world, create knowledge by themselves, create their world, education is just a help for people to learn and enlighten. Accordingly, Jean Piaget theory of constructivism emphasizes the important role of knowledge self-construction, which is consistent with the nature of studying political theory subjects in the university environment, where students are required to interact with each other, interact with lecturers to achieve the goal of equipping knowledge, skills, and ideas. The article focuses on clarifying constructivist theory, analyzing the current situation of teaching political theory subjects, thereby proposing basic solutions to apply constructivist theory to improve the teaching effectiveness of theory subjects politics at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City today.
